Enrique Rodriguez Valencia

Enrique Rodriguez Valencia has been working in the field of technology since 2008. Enrique began their career at Accenture as a DBA Oracle - Técnico en administración de sistemas, where they were responsible for administering Oracle 10g/11g/RAC databases in high availability environments, optimizing SQL queries, managing security patches, managing users and permissions, and administering Linux/Solaris systems in critical environments. In 2012, they joined AICIA (Andalusian Association for Research and Industrial Cooperation) as an Investigador Departamento Electrónica at the Escuela Superior de Ingenieros of the Universidad de Sevilla. Since 2016, they have been the Head of Integration & Systems at GALGUS, where they are responsible for OpenWRT embedded systems integration and hardware hacking, GNU Linux specialized support, DevOps and CI related tasks, and working with technologies such as docker, jenkins, gitlab and similar.

Enrique Rodriguez Valencia has a Master in Cybersecurity and Information Security from Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, which they are currently pursuing. Enrique previously obtained a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla in 2016. Before that, they earned a Higher Degree in Administration of Information Systems from I.E.S. Antonio de Nebrija in 2005. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certified Associate in 2011 and ITIL Foundation v3 in 2010.
