Dr. Luciana Summo

Dr. Luciana Summo is an accomplished professional in the field of clinical research and development, currently serving as Vice President of R&D Operations at Galimedix Therapeutics, Inc. since October 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. Summo held several key positions, including Director of Clinical Operations at OMEICOS Therapeutics GmbH from August 2016 to October 2023 and Senior Clinical Study Manager at NOXXON Pharma AG from November 2011 to July 2016. Dr. Summo began a career in clinical research at Berlin-Chemie AG, where roles included Clinical Study Manager and Trainee in Clinical Research from February 2002 to November 2011. Dr. Summo holds a PhD in Medicinal Sciences from Universitá degli Studi di Bari and King's College London, completed between 1996 and 2000, as well as a degree in Medicinal Chemistry from Universitá degli Studi di Bari, obtained from 1991 to 1996.
