Juan Fonseca

Juan Fonseca is the current Director of Business Development at Galoy. Prior to this, they served as CEO of Optimus Metrics and CTO - SVP Technology and Innovation of Banco GyT Continental. Juan has always been driven to help others and grow businesses. At Optimus Metrics, they were responsible for marketing and communications with an existing customer base of approximately 12 million subscribers. Juan managed marketing campaigns to increase revenue and customer loyalty while also reporting and analyzing data to anticipate customer decisions and explain behaviors. Under their leadership, the company saw a reduction in churn and an increase in customer retention.

At Banco GyT Continental, Juan was responsible for designing and executing marketing strategies to grow the Theirpanic, African American and Asian Consumer Segments in the South Central region of the United States. Juan worked closely with retail stores to grow traffic and acquisitions for the targeted segments. Juan also participated in the creation of promotions, advertising, and media placement. Their hard work contributed to the success of Banco GyT Continental, culminating in their promotion to CTO - SVP Technology and Innovation. In this role, they were responsible for the full line of consumer products, including mobile telephony, land lines, high speed internet, and IPTV.

Juan’s experience in marketing and technology has made him a valuable asset to Galoy. In their current role, they are responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with key clients. Juan is also responsible for leading the company’s digital transformation initiatives. Under their direction, Galoy has seen significant growth in both revenue and market share.

Juan Fonseca has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Acton MBA - UFM, a Master of Science from the University of Southern California, and a Licentiate degree from Universidad del Valle de Guatemala.

They are on a team with Andrew Begin - Director of Marketing, Justin Carter - Director of Engineering, and Daniel Wingen - Director of Business Development. Juan Fonseca reports to Nicolas Burtey, Founder & CEO.
