Mary Sophy Yohannan, MBBS has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Mary Sophy started their career as a Mental Health Worker at Trinity Health Of New England St. Francis Hospital in 2002. Later, they worked as a Research Assistant at NYU Lutheran, where they assisted in conducting interviews and co-authored a publication in Nursing Science Quarterly. Mary Sophy then joined UConn Health as a Research Associate from 2005 to 2008.
In 2011, Mary became a Clinical Research Coordinator at Island Gynecologic Oncology, where they managed multiple clinical trials and handled various responsibilities such as patient screening, protocol submission, and specimen processing.
From 2012 to 2016, they worked at Stony Brook Medicine, where they served as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and later as a Manager & Supervising Clinical Researcher. During their time there, they gained experience in coordinating and supervising clinical research projects.
In 2019, Mary worked as a Research Consultant at Halo Health Systems, providing expertise in research projects. Mary Sophy then joined Boston Scientific in 2016 as a CRA II Northeast Rhythm Management. Over the years, they held multiple positions within the company, including Associate Clinical Evaluation Scientist and Clinical Evaluation Scientist Rhythm Management.
In 2021, Mary served as a Clinical Research Instructor at Clinical Research Fastrack, where they shared their knowledge and expertise with aspiring clinical research professionals.
Currently, they are working as a Clinical Scientist at Galvanize Therapeutics, Inc. Previously, they also worked as a Clinical Scientist at Gala Therapeutics. In both roles, they provided scientific support for clinical affairs activities, developed investigational plans and protocols, conducted data analysis, and interacted with internal and external stakeholders.

Prior to that, they studied Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies at The George Washington University from 1994 to 1996. Additionally, they hold certifications such as CRA Certification (CCRA) obtained in September 2018 from ACRP - Association of Clinical Research Professionals, Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) obtained in September 2011 from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, and a Medical Doctor Interim Limited License obtained in June 2002 from the Tamil Nadu Medical Council - India.
