Alma Parias

Alma Parias is a Data Scientist with work experience in multiple companies. Alma currently works at Galytix since November 2021. Prior to that, they were a Research intern at Inria from March 2021 to August 2021. Alma also worked as a Data Scientist at Securitas Direct by Verisure from October 2019 to May 2020. Before that, they were a Data Scientist at BOTECH FPI from September 2018 to May 2020, and at BBVA from November 2018 to September 2019. Alma Parias started their career as a Becaria Investigadora at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos from September 2017 to August 2018.

Alma Parias has a strong educational background in the field of data science and artificial intelligence. Alma obtained a Master's degree in Data Science from EIT Digital Alumni, with a specialization in Intelligence Artificielle from Université Paris-Saclay in 2021. Prior to this, they completed another Master's degree in Data Science from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2020. Alma also holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Software and Mathematics from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, which they obtained between 2013 and 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Alma has several certifications. Alma earned a Master's degree in Data Science from EIT Digital in 2022. Alma also completed the EIT Digital Summer School Rennes program in 2020, where they learned about the power of circular city data. Alma has a certification in Linux Essentials from the Linux Professional Institute, obtained in 2017. Furthermore, they obtained a TOEFL iBT score of 98 from the Educational Testing Service (ETS) in 2018.
