Matthew Hanson

Matthew Hanson is currently a Senior Help Desk Technician and Service Now Queue Manager at GAMA-1 Technologies, providing support to 150 employees for NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information and the Office of Satellite Ground Services since March 2019. Prior to this, Matthew served as a Tier II Desktop Technician, delivering IT support to National Weather Service NOAA users. Experience also includes a role as IT Tier 1 Technician at ActioNet, Inc., where Matthew supported the Department of Energy, and a Front End Supervisor position at Best Buy, managing customer service and sales operations. Matthew's earlier career included work as a Technology Education Agent and Operations Agent at Geek Squad and Best Buy, respectively. Educational qualifications include studies at Frederick Community College and Governor Thomas Johnson High School.
