John Ball

John Ball currently serves as Senior Vice President, Fund CFO, and Fund Treasurer at GAMCO Investors, Inc., a position held since February 2017, where responsibilities include leading Fund Administration, Treasury/Cash Management, and Financial Reporting teams. Prior to this role, John was Assistant Treasurer at AMG Funds from August 2014 to February 2017, overseeing treasury activities and service provider management. John's experience also includes a tenure as Vice President at State Street from July 2007 to August 2014, where management of a 37-member team was essential in overseeing accounting for 190 funds with $160 billion in assets, and as Director at Investors Bank & Trust from May 2000 to July 2007, managing a team focused on alternative investment and structured credit products. John holds dual MBA degrees from Columbia Business School and London Business School, both completed in 2015.
