Kane Thomas

Kane Thomas has a wealth of experience in the tech and start-up world. In 2015, they co-founded Aquillous Tutoring, an online tutoring platform that was accepted into the UVA Darden i.Lab 2016 summer incubator program. In 2017, they founded Clique, a social media venture that was accepted into the UVA Pike Engineering Fellowship program. That same year, Kane co-founded Smart Source Apps, a company for app and web development contracting. Kane also lead the effort teaching four interns basic app development in React Native through client projects. In 2018, Kane co-founded The Scale Network, a blockchain-based network that combines cryptocurrency and decentralized applications. Kane worked with their co-founders on developing a custom ERC-20 token based smart contract to implement the main distribution mechanisms and token reward/inflation mechanisms. In 2019, Kane co-founded Gamebytes.

Kane Thomas attended the University of Virginia from 2015 to 2019 and obtained a B.A. in Computer Science & Philosophy.
