Yuzheng Zhang, PhD, PE has a diverse work experience in the field of materials science and engineering. Yuzheng started their career in 2011 as a Research Assistant at the USC Center for Electron Microscopy and Microanalysis, where they worked until 2015. During this time, they gained experience in research and microscopy.

In 2015, Zhang joined NextGen Aeronautics as a Research Engineer, where they worked for a year. Yuzheng then transitioned to Del West USA in 2016, where they held various roles, including Chief Materials Scientist and Materials Scientist. At Del West USA, Zhang focused on titanium, titanium aluminide, and nickel-based super alloys for high-temperature applications. Yuzheng provided expertise in material selections, heat treatment, and production process optimization.

Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer from the Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists in December 2017.
