Ben Verlinde

Ben Verlinde is a highly experienced designer currently serving as Principal Designer at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK since June 2021. With a robust freelance career as an Interactive Art Director starting in May 2003, Ben has provided design services to various clients in New York and Washington DC. Previously, Ben worked as Associate Creative Director at Wunderman Thompson Health from May 2016 to May 2021, and held the position of Senior Interactive Art Director at Wenner Media from June 2014 to March 2016, where site design and art direction for RollingStone.com were key responsibilities. Other notable roles include Senior Art Director at AGENCY RX LLC and Marketing Graphic Designer at HBO, contributing to projects for the HBO GO platform and popular series such as Game of Thrones. Ben began the design career as a Graphic Designer at Cutting Edge Design and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Design and Applied Arts as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts, earned between 1999 and 2003.
