Katja Järveläinen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Katja is currently working at Gapps as the Head of People and Culture, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Customer Officer at Heltti, Finland's largest company focused on supporting the vitality of knowledge workers, from October 2020 to September 2022. Katja Järveläinen completed their education with a strong focus on economics, business administration, and management. Katja obtained a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration, specializing in Strategy, Innovation, and Sustainability (MSIS), from LUT University in 2014. During the same period, they also earned a Master of Science degree in Management, specializing in Information Technologies and Innovation Management (MITIM), from Saint Petersburg State University.
Prior to their master's degrees, Katja obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration, with a specialization in International Marketing, from LUT University in 2012. Katja also participated in an international student exchange program at UADE in 2011, where they studied Business Studies in Latin America.
Katja's educational journey began with their completion of the Matriculation examination at Kimpinen Upper Secondary School in 2007.
In addition to their formal education, Katja has also obtained several certifications. In 2017, they obtained the GDPR training certificate from LAKIUS Oy. In 2016, they became a Google for Work Certified Customer Success Manager, and in 2015, they earned the Google Apps Certified Sales Specialist certification. Furthermore, in 2012, they obtained the International English Language Testing System (IELTS, Academic) certificate from the University of Cambridge, British Council, and IDP Education Australia.
