Gayath Sumanarathne

Gayath Sumanarathne is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Senior Tech Lead at Gapstars and a Tech Lead at Alicia Insurance since August 2022, Gayath has demonstrated expertise in guiding technical teams. Previous positions include Associate Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer at iTelaSoft from September 2020 to July 2022, as well as Technical Lead and Research and Development Engineer at RCS2 Technologies from June 2016 to September 2020. Gayath began a career at Virtusa, holding roles as an External Consultant in Software Engineering and Software Engineer Intern from August 2013 to February 2015. Gayath holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Sciences from the University of Colombo, completed in 2014.
