Daniel Vargas Mattheus

Daniel Vargas Mattheus has a diverse work experience. Daniel started their career as an Ayudante de Proyecto de Ingeniería de Software at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile in March 2016, where they provided support in project development. In August 2014, they became an Ayudante de Diseño de Base de Datos, where they assisted in database design, SQL maintenance, and development using the framework MVC CakePHP. Daniel also worked as an Ayudante de Ingeniería de Sistemas, supporting laboratory classes and developing practical work in dynamic systems. In March 2016, Daniel joined CITIAPS as an Ayudante de Investigación, contributing to various research projects until March 2017. Daniel then worked at Oferus SpA as an Ingeniero de Software from March 2017 to February 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technical Officer at Garage Labs since February 2022 and was previously the Product Technical Leader from January 2018 to March 2022.

Daniel Vargas Mattheus attended Universidad de Santiago de Chile from 2010 to 2016, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniería Civil Informática, specializing in Ingeniería Informática. Daniel has also obtained two certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS): AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional in November 2022, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in November 2021.
