Göknil Pencik

Göknil Pencik has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and auditing. Göknil started their career at ING Bank Turkey as a Business Analyst Project Intern in 2014. Later, they worked at GE as an EID, EAGM Inventory and Fulfillment Intern from September 2014 to June 2015. Göknil then joined Garanti BBVA, where they held various roles including Information Technology Auditor, Senior Information Technology Auditor, Senior Data Scientist & Auditor, and currently serving as the Head of Data Science and Strategy & Business Model Risk since May 2022. Göknil'sexpertise lies in data science, strategy, business model risk, and auditing.

Göknil Pencik has a diverse educational background. Göknil started their education at Galatasaray Lisesi, where they obtained a French Baccalaureate in the Science Class. Göknil then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering at Istanbul Technical University from 2010 to 2015. In 2014 and 2015, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied Economics and International Trade. Göknil went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Finance from Koç University in 2016-2017. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics and Business at the University of Navarra, a program they started in 2021. Additionally, Göknil has completed various certifications in subjects such as Data Visualization, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Financial Forecasting from platforms like LinkedIn and institutions like ISACA.
