Garden House Hospice Care
Richard Julian is currently the Community Engagement Lead at Garden House Hospice Care. In addition, Richard is the Chair of Trustees at Reboot the Roots and has previous experience as a Project Manager at St Joseph's Hospice. Richard has also held roles at Abriendo Mentes, Gorringe Park Primary School, and SGOSS - Governors for Schools. Richard holds a BA in Business Management from Newcastle University and an MA in Charity Management from St Mary's University, Twickenham.
Garden House Hospice Care
Garden House Hospice Care provides free specialist palliative care for patients, families and carers facing life limiting illnesses from across North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and towns and villages in Central Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, serving a population of around 230,000 people. Working with our medical team of highly experienced doctors and nurses, we have specialists in a wide range of roles including complementary physiotherapy, bereavement, occupational therapy, complementary therapy and spiritual care. We offer: - Inpatient Care - Hospice at Home service - Hawthorne Centre - Family Support Service Although the Hospice receives some funding we need to raise almost £5 million in charitable income to run these services and greatly rely on the support of the community- local businesses, groups and individuals to help fund our work. We also rely on the support of our fantastic volunteers to help us deliver our services.
