Balaji Arumugam

Balaji Arumugam is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as General Manager and Senior Director of Engineering for Connected Vehicle at Garrett - Advancing Motion since October 2018. Previous roles include Director of Engineering and Global Engineering Leader for Automotive Cyber Security at the same company. Prior to Garrett, Balaji worked at Honeywell as Senior Technical Product Owner and Project Leader for Automotive Diagnostics and Preventive Maintenance, where responsibilities included developing product roadmaps and facilitating Scrum processes. Balaji's career also includes significant tenure at Cummins Inc. in various technical management roles, leading product development, calibration strategy, and systems engineering. Balaji holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathiar University.
