Executive Bourbon Assistant and Compliance Manager at Garrison Brothers Distillery

Hope Parkerson began their work experience in 1997 as a Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens. In 2001, they joined the Harris County Hospital District as a Registered Pharmacy Technician at the Acres Home/ Martin Luther King Jr. Clinics. In this role, they filed and maintained patients' prescriptions, personal and insurance confidential information, assisted pharmacists, entered and dispensed prescriptions, answered phones, counted inventory and medical supplies, communicated with patients, doctors, and third party insurance, and maintained HIPPA compliance. From 2005-2008, they were also part of the Disaster Ride Out Team, riding out hurricanes at hospitals and setting up makeshift clinics at the Astrodome. In addition, they were a Pharmacy Technician Trainer and recorded and kept on file Pharmacy Meeting Minutes. In 2010, they moved to Lakeside Technology Associates as an Office Manager. In 2011, they joined Scarbrough Ventures as an Administrative/ Personal Assistant. Finally, in 2015, they joined Garrison Brothers Distillery as an Executive Bourbon Assistant and Compliance Manager and also as Executive Assistant & GBGC Chief Mission Director, where they managed/ maintained/ organized personal/ business matters for the CEO, managed distillery tax reports, and scheduled meetings/ appointments and maintained calendars.

Hope Parkerson is currently attending the University of Houston.
