Kaitlyn Bear has been working in the field of research and development since 2019. Kaitlyn began their career as a Student Laboratory Aide II at the University of Maine, where they provided routine assistance in the performance of laboratory tests and research, and helped maintain the cleaning and upkeep of the laboratory. Kaitlyn also assisted the head researcher in their developmental biology research in finding what cues muscle precursor cells in zebrafish by using a drug library of 1700 small molecules. In 2021, Kaitlyn began working at Garuda Therapeutics as a Research Associate and later as an Associate Scientist. Kaitlyn also began working at Moderna in 2021 as a Manufacturing Associate I.
