Darragh Gillen

Darragh Gillen is a Design Engineer currently employed at Gas Networks Ireland since April 2023, specializing in the gas and utilities sector, with responsibilities that include design reviews, constructability evaluations, material procurement, and project commercial management for high-pressure gas transmission network projects. Prior to this role, Darragh worked at RPS from August 2021 to April 2023, contributing to transport infrastructure projects through contract documentation, design drawings, site surveys, and design reviews. Darragh's experience also includes a position as a Student Site Engineer at John Cradock Limited in 2019, where involvement was focused on a water network upgrade scheme, as well as roles as a Clerical Officer and a Food and Beverage Assistant. Academic qualifications include a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Galway.
