Jesse Orozco

Research and Development Project Manager at Gate Scientific

Jesse Orozco has been working in research and development since 2015. Jesse began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering department of UCLA in 2015. In 2018, they moved to the Lin Lab, Department of Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley, where they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher. During their time there, they co-authored and submitted an abstract to Transducers 2019, synthesized and characterized 3D printed magnetic-elastomer composite cantilever actuators, and investigated carbon black's effect on conductivity on the base material of 3D-printing resins. In 2019, they became a Chemistry Intern at Prellis Biologics, Inc. and, in 2020, they were appointed as a Research and Development Project Manager at Gate Scientific.

Jesse Orozco attended California High School from 2012 to 2016 and earned a High School Diploma. Jesse then attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2016 to 2020 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
