Matthew Mangino is an experienced legal professional and educator with a diverse background in criminal law and academia. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Political Science Department at Thiel College since August 2014, Matthew also provides criminal defense and sentence advocacy as "of counsel" at Luxenberg, Garbett, Kelly and George, P.C. since November 2012. As a syndicated columnist for GateHouse Media, Matthew has launched a weekly column focusing on crime and punishment, complementing regular contributions to various publications. Matthew's prior roles include serving as a Board Member for the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole from 2006 to 2012, and as District Attorney of Lawrence County, Pennsylvania from 1998 to 2006. Matthew holds a JD from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, an MS in Criminology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Political Science from Westminster College (PA).
