Mark Varey

Mark Varey has a diverse work experience in software engineering and application development. Mark has held various roles, including Director of Software Engineering at Gateway Services Inc. since July 2022. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineering Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific from August 2020 to July 2022. Mark also worked as an Application Development Team Lead at Service Inspired Restaurants (SIR Corp.) from October 2019 to July 2020, and as a Manager of Application Development at Innomar Strategies Inc. from June 2016 to September 2019. Before that, they held different positions at Canadian Tire, starting as an Application Developer in February 2001 and eventually becoming a Manager of Infrastructure & Development from January 2011 to March 2016. Mark began their career at Magnetrol International, where they worked as an Inside Sales and Service representative from August 1997 to June 2000.

From 1992 to 1995, Mark Varey attended Mohawk College, where they pursued a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. Their field of study focused on Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician.
