Simon Bontempo

Simon Bontempo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Simon started their career as a Sales Representative and Skate Sharpener at LT Source for Sports in 2010, where they worked until 2014. In 2011, Simon joined Windows by Design as an Installer for seven years. Simon then worked as a Sales Representative at RONA in 2013 for a brief period. In 2014, Simon began working for the Town of Grimsby as a Parks and Rec maintenance worker, a role they held until 2017. During this time, they also interned as a Product Design Intern at Designforce in 2017. Simon then joined Studio63 as an Industrial Designer in 2018 before transitioning to Gatik in 2020, where they held the position of Mechanical Design Engineer until May 2023. Currently, they are working as a Senior Industrial Design Engineer at Gatik.

Simon Bontempo pursued their education at Blessed Trinity High School from 2009 to 2013, where they completed their high school education with a general field of study. Following this, they attended Carleton University from 2014 to 2018, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Product Design. In June 2017, Simon obtained the certification of Junior Member of ACIDO from the ACIDO Association of Chartered Industrial Designers of Ontario.
