Mariana Silva

Mariana Silva has a diverse range of work experience, spanning various industries and roles. Mariana is currently working as the Marketing Director for Gato Preto, overseeing operations in Portugal and Spain. Prior to this, they served as the Head of PR Events & Communication at Gato Preto from January 2021 to July 2023.

Before joining Gato Preto, Mariana worked at Calzedonia Group as a Communication & Events Manager from February 2019 to January 2021. Mariana also has experience as a Co-Founder of Bowl Lisboa, where they developed a restaurant concept focused on healthy food in Campo de Ourique. After a few years dedicated to this project, they sold the concept and returned to the corporate world.

Mariana's earlier roles include Event Manager at Desafio Global from January 2016 to May 2018, Marketing Specialist at Banco Primus from February 2015 to May 2016, and Internal & External Communication & Social Responsibility at Prosegur from January 2014 to January 2015. Lastly, they worked as a Communications Consultant at YoungNetwork Group from July 2013 to November 2013.

Throughout their career, Mariana has gained extensive experience in marketing, communication, events management, and entrepreneurship.

Mariana Silva's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Instituto Superior de Novas Profissões, obtained from 2010 to 2013. Mariana also completed an Erasmus IP program in Public Relations: Government Relations and Lobbying in a European Perspective at Arteveldehogeschool in 2013. In 2022, they studied E-commerce Management at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management. Mariana is currently attending the University of London from 2023 to 2024, pursuing a field of study in Brand Management: Aligning Business, Brand, and Behavior. Mariana has obtained various certifications, including Brand Management, Marketing Digital, Microsoft Excel 2010- Avançado, Training in Social Responsibility Management System - NP 4469, and an English Certificate - intermediate level.
