Alexander Glotov

Alexander Glotov is a dedicated aerospace engineer currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University since August 2023. Previously, Alexander held multiple leadership roles at Gatorloop from August 2019 to May 2023, including President, where responsibilities involved managing social engagement, recruitment, and communication with sponsors and university departments. As a Project Manager, Alexander coordinated design and manufacturing efforts across six subteams, while also serving as Powertrain Lead and member, focusing on propulsion system development. Additionally, experience as a Laboratory Assistant at the University of Florida involved practical applications of mechanics of materials and critique of student research. Alexander's educational background includes a PhD and MS in Propulsion from Purdue University and a BS in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the UF Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering.
