Kushal Gurung has a diverse work experience in the culinary industry. Kushal began their career as a Kitchen Assistant at Masala Zone in 2007 and worked there until 2008. Kushal then moved on to Bob Bob Ricard & Bob Bob Cité, where they served as a Senior chef de partie from 2008 to 2013. After that, they joined The Don Restaurant & Bistro as a Sous Chef from 2013 to 2015. Following this, they worked at The Hippodrome Casino as a Sous Chef from 2015 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head Chef at GAUCHO, starting in 2022.
Kushal Gurung's education history includes several achievements in the field of culinary arts and management. In 2005, they attended Nanyang Institute of Management where they pursued an Advance Diploma in Management, focusing on Business/Commerce. After completing this program in 2007, they decided to further develop their skills in culinary arts and enrolled at Westminster Kingsway College in 2010. During their time there, they obtained a Diploma in Culinary Arts/Chef Training. Seeking to enhance their expertise in this field, they returned to Westminster Kingsway College in 2015 to pursue an Advance Diploma in Culinary Arts, specializing in NVQ LEVEL 3.
