Mirit Horenshtein

Mirit Horenshtein has an extensive work experience in finance and management roles. Mirit is currently the Chief Financial Officer Israel at Gauzy since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Finance at Gauzy from January 2021 to February 2022. Before joining Gauzy, Mirit worked at VYNE Therapeutics as the Senior Director of Finance and Head of FP&A from October 2020 to December 2020. Mirit also held the position of Senior Director of Finance and Head of FP&A at Menlo Therapeutics Inc. from January 2020 to September 2020. Earlier in their career, they worked at Foamix Pharmaceuticals as a Director of Finance from June 2018 to December 2019 and as a Finance Manager from July 2016 to June 2018. Mirit started their career at PwC in 2008, where they held various positions including Senior Manager from January 2013 to July 2016 and Supervisor from May 2008 to December 2012. At PwC, they gained experience in auditing public and privately-held companies in various sectors such as biotech, life sciences, start-ups, and technology. Mirit has also managed multinational engagement teams and has expertise in financial reporting and compliance with international accounting standards.

Mirit Horenshtein obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting, Economic and Business Management from Tel Aviv University from 2005 to 2009. Mirit also holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Accountants Council, Ministry of Justice, Israel, which they obtained in 2011.
