Diogo Neves

Diogo Neves currently holds the position of Senior Metocean Engineer at Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions (GDG) since April 2023. Previously, Diogo served as Técnico Superior Principal and Head of Sea Technologies at INEGI from October 2020 to April 2023, and as a Data Scientist at Bibby HydroMap from November 2018 to October 2020, focusing on data management and computational processes. Diogo also has extensive research experience, including a PhD Research Grant at the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering (LNEC), where the doctoral program emphasized air entrainment in wave breaking. Diogo holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and has completed various specialized courses in project management, technology and innovation, fluid dynamics, and coastal engineering from several prestigious institutions.
