Mohammed Alaa Almoghayer

Mohammed Alaa Almoghayer is an accomplished Senior Offshore Project Manager currently affiliated with Venterra Group and Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions, alongside roles as an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Strathclyde and a Visiting Scholar at Heriot-Watt University. With extensive experience in project management and renewable energy, Mohammed oversaw EPC activities for the Laggan Tormore Project and coordinated engineering and construction communications. Previous roles include Senior Renewable Energy Engineer at Aquatera Ltd, Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer at Petrofac, and Planning Engineer at Lama Co. Mohammed holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Heriot-Watt University, complemented by multiple master's degrees in marine renewable energy and construction project management, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil/Structural Engineering from Aleppo University.
