Shamsideen Ojelade

Shamsideen Ojelade Ph.D is a Senior Scientist II-Team Lead at GC Therapeutics, where Shamsideen focuses on neurotherapy development using human stem cells. Before this role, Shamsideen worked as a Scientist II at Baylor College of Medicine, conducting research on neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's Disease. Shamsideen also spent time as an NRSA Research Fellow at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where Shamsideen studied genes and circuits related to alcohol-induced behavior in fruit flies. Shamsideen's expertise includes biochemistry, cell culture, and various molecular biology techniques. Shamsideen holds a PhD in Neuroscience from UT Southwestern Medical Center.
