Hiroshi Matsushima

Hiroshi Matsushima is a board member at GCA Corp. Hiroshi was previously a research assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2016 to September 2022. Hiroshi was also a research intern at the City of Detroit Mayor's Office from June 2015 to August 2015. From April 2006 to June 2014, they were the chief of staff and secretary of legislative affairs at Keisuke Tsumura's office, a member of the House of Representatives of Japan.

Matsushima's research interests include fuel economy, consumer choice, government regulations, and industrial organization. Hiroshi has a specialization in environmental economics, energy economics, resource economics, econometrics, applied microeconometrics, optimization, and industrial organization.

Hiroshi Matsushima has a Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Science, Technology, and Public Policy Graduate Certificate from the University of Michigan, a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Keio University.
