Meryle Sachs

Meryle Sachs has a comprehensive work experience in the field of technical writing. Meryle started their career as a Staff Technical Writer at Digital Research, Inc. in 1981, where they wrote operating system manuals and help systems for various software platforms. Meryle then worked as a Senior Technical Writer at NetObjects, Inc. from 1996 to 2001, creating tutorials, manuals, and online help for web-based applications. Meryle also gained experience as a Senior Technical Writer at CTB/McGraw-Hill, LLC from 2003 to 2005, where they designed tutorials and improved business processes. Meryle later joined Hewlett-Packard as a Senior Technical Writer from 2009 to 2014, before taking on the role of Lead Senior Technical Writer at GCE - Global Connections to Employment in 2014. Additionally, Meryle ran their own sole proprietorship from 1987 to 2009, working as a Senior Technical Writer, Information Architect, and Consultant.

Meryle Sachs has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Vermont. Meryle also studied Philosophy and Creative Writing at New York University. In 2016, they obtained a User Experience certification with a specialty in Interaction Design from the Nielsen Norman Group. In 2017, they obtained a User Experience Master Certificate with specialties in Interaction, Web, and Mobile Design, also from the Nielsen Norman Group.
