Dean Gray has extensive work experience in engineering and management roles. Dean started their professional career at Texas Instruments in 1988 as a Product Engineer. Dean then joined Dallas Semiconductor in 1993, where they worked as a Senior Product Engineer, Product Engineering Manager, and eventually became the Product Development Engineering Department Manager. During their time at Dallas Semiconductor, Dean was responsible for managing a team of 130 engineers and technicians and led various initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs. In 2001, they joined Maxim Integrated, initially as the Managing Director of Test System Development, where they managed up to 100 engineers and technicians across multiple locations. Dean played a key role in all aspects of new product introduction, manufacturing test, cost reductions, and yield enhancements. Dean also led the implementation of SAP and was involved in quality improvement projects. Additionally, Dean established innovative data analysis and test methodology processes, developed software applications and hardware, and initiated industry-leading virtual test tools. In 2016, Dean joined GCi Technologies as the Director of Engineering.
Dean Gray attended North Idaho College from 1983 to 1985, where they studied Electrical Engineering. Dean then transferred to the University of Arizona in 1985 but did not complete a degree. From 1986 to 1988, Dean attended Montana State University-Bozeman, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). In 1994, Dean obtained a certification as a Licensed Professional Engineer from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
