Godfrey Chingono

Godfrey Chingono is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in credit ratings, investment analysis, and financial advisory. Currently serving as Sector Head of Insurance at GCR Ratings since March 2016, Godfrey oversees the insurance ratings portfolio and is responsible for training analysts, managing market presentations, and chairing committees. Previous roles include Deputy Sector Head and Senior Credit Analyst at GCR Ratings, Investments Officer at Bushveld Capital, and Senior Research Analyst at Platinum Groupe Pvt. Ltd. Godfrey's foundational experience includes roles at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe and the Mining Industry Pension Fund. Academically, Godfrey holds an MBA in Finance from MANCOSA, a Chartered Institute of Secretaries qualification, and a BSc Hons in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe.
