Susan Castillo is a highly experienced leader in the health research and federal health program sectors, currently serving as Vice President of the NIH and Health Research Business Area at General Dynamics Information Technology since April 2018, following roles as Senior Program Director and Director of Federal Health Program Account Manager. Prior experience includes over 18 years at SRA, a CSRA company, where positions ranged from Program Director to Vice President of Health Research Programs. Castillo began a career at the National Institutes of Health as an IRTA Postdoctoral Fellow and Senior Staff Fellow. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Genetics from Virginia Tech, a Master’s Degree in Animal Physiology from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Chemistry from Concordia College.
