Rick Arthur

Rick Arthur is a Senior Principal Engineer at GE Aerospace, involved in computational hardware, software, and methods for aviation and aerospace engineering since January 2023. Concurrently, Rick serves as a Committee Member for the U.S. Department of Energy's Advanced Scientific Computing Research program and as the Subcommittee Lead for the AIAA Digital Engineering Integration Committee, focusing on Digital Thread and Digital Twin standards. As Co-Chair of the Advanced Computing Roundtable at the Council on Competitiveness, Rick guides policies on high-performance computing and computational methods. Previously, Rick held senior engineering and managerial roles at GE Research, contributing to software architectures and hardware/software co-design solutions. Rick's extensive educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Software Systems Engineering, an MBA in Ventures and Entrepreneurship, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.
