Kristen Ottesen has extensive work experience in the appliance industry. Kristen began their career at GE in 2006 as an Area Merchandising Specialist, providing merchandising support to national accounts such as Home Depot, Lowes, and Best Buy. During this role, they trained sales associates on product features and benefits, communicated merchandising programs, and partnered with store management to increase sales and profits. In 2012, Kristen became an Area Sales Manager, overseeing a retail sales territory with an annual billing of approximately $17 million. Kristen successfully implemented new marketing, merchandising, advertising, selling, and promotional strategies to drive sales and deliver gross margin for GE. Kristen then joined GE Appliances, a Haier company, in 2016 as a Principal Account Manager, where they managed key accounts and continued to drive sales growth. Kristen currently holds the position of National Account Sales Director - Buying Groups, further expanding their responsibilities within the company.
Kristen Ottesen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Rhode Island - College of Business, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.
