James Knight

James Knight is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in power electronics and project management. Currently serving as the Power Electronics Manager at GE Power Conversion since November 2020, James leads a multi-disciplinary team in the design and validation of MW-scale power electronics for marine and energy applications. Previously, James worked at Jaguar Land Rover as the Auxiliary Power Electronics Group Leader, overseeing multiple charging commodity projects. James's extensive experience includes roles at GE Power Conversion focused on product convergence and drives engineering, as well as project management at TT Electronics plc and NPI developments at MIRA Ltd. James holds a BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nottingham Trent University.
