Olaf von Wackerbarth

Olaf von Wackerbarth serves as the Information Security Officer for EMEA at GE Healthcare since 2011, also holding the role of Chief Information Security Officer for 112 countries in the region, where focus is on driving cybersecurity strategy and enabling business operations. Previous positions include Senior Director Cybersecurity, Global, overseeing commercial cybersecurity support and operations, and General Manager at GE Healthcare AR&GE, involved in cyclotron development for radio-pharmacy products. Olaf has extensive experience in managing connectivity, data privacy, and digital offerings across multiple regions as Director Digital Service, and has led service management for diagnostic imaging technologies in Central Europe. Prior to GE Healthcare, Olaf held roles at Tyco International, Computacenter, and bsw datentechnik GmbH, culminating in leadership in infrastructure services and support. Educational credentials include a degree in Economics from TU Dortmund University and completion of senior leader development courses at Crotonville.
