Roshni Som

Roshni Som is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at GEICO since January 2023, Roshni has previously held senior engineering roles at Walmart, including Senior Engineering Manager II, where responsibilities included developing the cart functionality for the Walmart Glass App, and Senior Engineering Manager, focusing on the creation and launch of the Mobile Scan and Go feature on the Walmart App. Roshni's earlier experience at Walmart Global Tech involved pioneering the Cloud Powered In-store Mobile POS system, "Checkout with Me," which was successfully scaled across all Walmart US locations. Roshni's foundational career began with positions at NCR Corporation and IBM, culminating in a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology.
