Shiva Potu

Shiva Potu is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at GEICO since July 2024, Shiva previously held the position of Head of Platform Engineering at LegalZoom, where significant growth in the Platform Engineering organization was achieved. Prior to LegalZoom, Shiva spent over a decade at Walmart Labs in various positions, culminating as Director of Engineering for Walmart Fulfillment Services, managing over 100 engineers and developing critical systems for logistics, inventory planning, and eCommerce. Earlier career milestones include impactful roles at Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield. Shiva holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from McNeese State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, complemented by coursework at Harvard Business School Online.
