Evan Smith

Evan Smith has a diverse work experience with a focus on IT architecture and web development. Evan started their career at General Dynamics - Bath Iron Works as an Electric Design Engineer in 2006. In 2007, they moved to Geiger and held various roles including Web and Media Manager from 2006 to 2011. During this time, they worked closely with the CIO on key projects, advised on strategic direction, and transformed the company's architecture into distributed systems. Evan also headed the transformation of moving off-premises into the cloud. In 2020, Evan Smith took on the role of IT Architect and Development Manager at Geiger, where they are currently working.

Evan Smith completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in 3-D Animation and Video Production from Fairleigh Dickinson University from 2002 to 2006. In 2004, they also attended Wroxton College, where they studied Psychology. In addition to their formal education, Evan obtained the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from PeopleCert in February 2023.
