Wendi Vanwert

Wendi VanWert, M.S., is an accomplished health services professional with extensive experience in wellness coordination and consulting. Currently serving as Health Services Team Lead at Geisinger since April 2016, Wendi has held various roles within the organization, including Senior Wellness Coordinator and Wellness Coordinator. Prior to this, Wendi worked as a Wellness Consultant at Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania from January 2013 to February 2016, and served as a Wellness Coach for Wellness Coaches from April 2008 to April 2011. Additional experience includes the position of Fitness and Aquatics Director at YMCA of the USA and Health and Wellness Coach at Health Fitness Corp. Wendi holds a Master's degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from PennWest California and a Bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation, Leisure, and Fitness Studies from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.
