Itay Harel

Itay Harel has a strong background in the field of technology and cybersecurity. Itay is currently working as a Software Engineer at Gem since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as the R&D Group Lead at KayHut from September 2021 to August 2022. Itay also held the position of Cyber Security R&D Group Lead at Israeli Military Intelligence-Unit 8200 from August 2020 to September 2021. Itay Harel has extensive experience in the military sphere as well, having served as a Class Commander at the Talpiot Program from August 2019 to August 2020, and as a Research Team Lead and Security Researcher at the Israel Defense Forces from June 2018 to August 2019 and July 2015 to June 2018, respectively. Itay began their career as a Cadet at the Talpiot Program from July 2012 to July 2015.

Itay Harel obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between the years 2012 and 2015. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Tel Aviv University from 2016 to 2021.
