Halil Aslan

Halil Aslan's work experience includes being the Engineering Chief at Gemak Group of Companies since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Research and Development Manager at Turbosan Turbomakinalar A.Ş from December 2017 to March 2021, where they led various projects, managed budgets, and mentored team members. Before that, they worked at Ford Motor Company from 2012 to 2017, starting as a Thermal and Aerodynamics Engineer and eventually becoming the Thermal and Aerodynamics Team Leader. In these roles, they managed teams, conducted tests, provided technical assistance, and reported on project status. Halil also has experience as a Project Engineer at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they worked on research projects related to nuclear reactors.

Halil Aslan's education history includes obtaining a PhD(c) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University (2021-2027), an MSc. in Nuclear Energy Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology (2009-2012), an MSc. in Energy Science & Technology from Istanbul Technical University (2008-2011), and two BSc. degrees, one in Mechanical Engineering (2003-2007) and another in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering (2002-2006) from Yıldız Technical University. Additionally, they earned a High School Diploma from Kadıköy Anadolu Lisesi ve Maarif Koleji (1994-2002).
