Barry H.

Barry H. has a vast work experience in the field of IT. Barry started their career as a Systeembeheerder at KAS BV Amersfoort in 1997 and worked there until 2000. Then, they joined Gemeente Lelystad in 2000 and held various roles. Barry began as a Systeembeheer / Netwerkbeheer and later transitioned into the role of Netwerkbeheerder / Security Manager Itil in 2008. In 2018, they took on the responsibility of CISO / ITIL Security Manager / Netwerkbeheerder. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Gemeente Lelystad since October 2019.

Barry H.'s education history includes various certifications and degrees in the field of information security. In 2017, they obtained a degree in "Informatie Beveiliging" from TSTC Veenendaal, specializing in CISSP. In 2018, they achieved the CCISO EISM certification from EC-Council. In 2022, Barry earned the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA. Additionally, they attended DNV-Cibit in 2010 for risk management studies and pursued a Lerarenopleiding program at Windesheim. Barry also studied electro-energineering at MTS Harderwijk.
