Ferry Hoekstra

Ferry Hoekstra currently serves as Wethouder for the gemeente Uithoorn since June 2022, overseeing portfolios such as finances, municipal real estate, participation and communication, and living environment. Prior to this role, Ferry was an Inbound Coordinator and Customs Employee at Fetim Group from November 2014 to May 2022, handling customs matters, container shipping, and air freight. Ferry's political engagement includes serving as a Gemeenteraadslid for Gemeentebelangen Uithoorn - De Kwakel and as a member of the Regioraad for Vervoerregio Amsterdam. Earlier professional experiences include import/export specialist roles at Alphatron Marine BV Rotterdam and Japan Radio Company Ltd, as well as a warehouse employee position at Menzies World Cargo.
