Niek Albers

Niek Albers is a seasoned professional in urban planning and policy development, currently serving as Afdelingshoofd Wonen & Werken at Gemeente Uithoorn since August 2021. Previously, Niek held the position of Teammanager Beleid & Advies at HLTsamen from January 2018 to July 2021 and worked as a Senior beleidsadviseur at Hoogheemraadschap van Delfland in 2017, focusing on the implementation of the Omgevingswet. Niek's earlier experience at Infram from March 2008 to December 2017 included roles such as Sectormanager and Senior adviseur, overseeing numerous significant projects related to water management and infrastructure under various governmental ministries. Niek holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Twente and completed education at Gymnasium Celeanum.
