Jos van Eijk

Jos van Eijk currently serves as a member of the municipal council for Gemeente Veere since November 2023. With extensive experience in mediation, conflict resolution, and negotiation strategies as an NMv Mediator at J.T.M. van Eijk from May 2011 to January 2024, Jos has also held various roles in local governments including serving as a city council member in Rotterdam and Rhenen. A Senior Contract Manager at Nationale Nederlanden from September 2003 to January 2024, responsibilities included sourcing strategy implementation and legal advisory. Jos has a legal background with prior experience as a legal advisor at RVS and an attorney at Van Vreeswijk & Van Eijk Advocaten, complemented by a law degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a post-doctorate degree in mediation.
