Stijn Houben

Stijn Houben is a beleidsmedewerker planologie with extensive experience in urban planning and community development. Currently serving at Gemeente Venlo since October 2024, Stijn previously held positions as beleidsmedewerker planologie and juridisch planoloog at Lybrae until October 2024. Stijn's academic background includes a Master's degree in Community Development from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and a Bachelor's degree in Management van de Leefomgeving from HAS green academy. Stijn has also contributed to various projects as a student researcher at Hogeschool Utrecht and completed internships at Waterschap Limburg and Gemeente Mechelen, focusing on asset management and urban structure planning respectively.
